Chili's St. Jude t-shirt

I didn't have time to finish my illustration for Illustration Friday this week. Instead I did this t-shirt for my friend Linda who I used to work with at Chili's. Every September Chili's raises money for St. Jude's and sells these t-shirts that you can color on. So if you find yourself near a Chili's go help the kids and buy a t-shirt.

This was my idea for the IF challenge which was "proverb" this week. My proverb was "A fool and his money are soon parted". Blame it on all the football I watched. :)

Went and saw the Zac Brown Band in concert about a week and a half ago and heard a song of theirs called "Sic 'Em On A Chicken". The lyrics are really funny and this image popped into my head. Just a pencil drawing so far, but I'm planning on finishing it later.

My boyfriend lost his Grandmother this week and it's all I could think of as we get ready to attend the funeral. Sorry it's not better quality, but I'm in a hurry and just took a photo rather than scan it in.

Illustration Friday - Atmosphere

Here is my illustration for this week. Took me a while to come up with an idea. After a couple bad play on word concepts, I finally just started doodling. Come to find out I liked the idea of "atmosphere" as a mood or feeling. So, this is my chilly atmosphere. Hope you like it.

Well, I ran out of time this week due to a rough week at work. Only a couple of really rough (and light) idea sketches. Better luck next week.

This one I was thinking about a sea otter with star fish on his belly, maybe accompanied by a sea turtle and pelican...

This one never really formed into an idea. I googled star gazing and stumbled upon this great rescue organization for farm animals called stargazingfarm.org, from then on I thought it was fun to doodle farm animals.
